There will be competitions held during the 2026 National N Scale convention. The competitions will be divided into Formally Judged categories, as well as attendee judged categories.
Further details will be made available closer to the convention, but for now these are the competition categories that we will have.
Formal Judging
Modelling Competition with formal judging:
- Locomotive (anything on rail self-powered)
- Rolling Stock (anything on rail NOT self-powered)
- Line-side (including town buildings, etc)
- Dioramas
Attendee Judging
People attending the convention will be able to vote for their favourite item in 3 categories:
- People’s Choice Award
- Best T-TRAK Module (Static modules, not part of a layout)
- Best ‘Pocket Sized’ Module (in/on pocket-sized module layout)
